1. How to start a course

You navigate into the page of the course that interests you and you click on Register Now. This will take you to the TALENT Learning platform, where you can see an overview of the course and you can click on the green button Get this course.

2. How do I register on the learning platform?

When you enter the page of the course that interests you, you can sign up on the top right corner or login if you are already registered. This will allow you to view all available courses of the Sustainability Academy.

3. Where can I see and edit my account details?

When you log in, you can see and edit your account details in the Learner drop-down menu (My Info). From this page you can also view all the courses you have attended and the progress, start a discussion with fellow users and access the calendar with current and upcoming events (eg. Webinars).

4. I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

When you log in, you click on the question mark next to the Username or Password in case you have forgotten either one, in order to reset it.

5. How do I contact the Academy?

6. How do I unsubscribe from the Academy mailing lists?

You can unsubscribe by simply clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every Academy newsletter.

Learning with the Sustainability Academy

1. How does the assessment take place?

Each course has a final quiz and assessment. The participant needs to pass both pieces of assignment in order to be awarded a certificate. The final quiz is made-up from multiple choice questions and the result is calculated immediately. The final assignment consists of open questions. The responses are evaluated by our professional training team who determines whether the responses meet the assignment criteria.

2. What happens if I fail the final quiz and assessment?

In the occasion a participant fails to achieve a passing grade in the final quiz or the final assignment, the participant will have to pay a reduced course price (-20% of the price paid for the course) in order to be eligible to retake the final quiz and assignment in a 3 months’ time after the first submission.

3. How will I get my certificate?

Once the participant has successfully completed the final quiz and final assignment, as well as the course evaluation, the certificate for the successful completion of the course will be sent via email to the participant within 5 working days.

Promote the Sustainability Academy

1. How can I submit my comments on a course I have taken?

There is a course evaluation survey at the end of the course, which must be completed in order for the participant to successfully obtain the certificate.

2. How can I get discounts for more courses?

3. How does the Refer & Win feature work?

Publishing on the Academy

1. What does Publishing on the Academy mean?

All the Academy’s Members are eligible to post their articles on the Academy’s Blog on sustainability-related issues. Your views and opinions will be heard and seen by a global audience of management and sustainability professionals. All articles are approved before publication by the editorial team.

2. Who can publish on the Academy?

All the Academy’s Members can publish their own articles on the blog and have their opinion heard on management and sustainability-related issues. Find out how you can become a Member here.

3. How can I publish my content on the Academy?

It’s very easy to publish your content on the Academy’s blog. Simply navigate to the Blog page from the top right menu on the homepage and you can share your article with us through the contact form. Before publication, your material will be approved by the editorial team.

4. Why should I publish on the Academy?

The Academy is a global leading source of information and affordable online education in Sustainability. Any published content is reached by a global audience of management and sustainability professionals. You can also share the published content on your own Social Media through the Blog page, using the Social Media sharing buttons.

Payment

1. How to pay for the Academy courses.

Through your PayPal account or credit-debit card.

4. Can I pay by installments?

Installments are currently not available. Payment is made for the whole amount at the time of registration.

Certificates

1. Who is the training provider of the Courses and what are its accreditations and other credentials?

CSE, who is the initiator of the Sustainability Academy, is an accredited training provider by CMI (Chartered Management Institute) and IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment), Green America certified business, GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) stakeholder and training partner to the Sustainability Management Association (SMA).

2. What accreditations do the Courses have?

Through the Academy, CSE offers the Online Diploma on Corporate Sustainability and other courses, which are approved by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and recognized by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The Certificate for the Online Diploma on Corporate Sustainability course is issued by these institutes and upon successful completion of the course the participant is eligible for CMI membership. A Certificate of Attendance is offered for all Sustainability Academy courses by the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE).

3. How are Academy courses accredited and recognized?

The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE), which is the founder and initiator of the Sustainability Academy, has the most sought-after accreditations in the Sustainability field. 4. How do I earn a Certificate?

In order to earn a Certificate for each of the Academy’s courses you have to successfully complete the final quiz and final assignment of each course.

5. Is there a cost for the Certificates?

The cost of the Certificate is included in the price the participant has paid for the selected course. No additional fees exist for each course’s Certificate.

6. Which courses have Certificates?

Certificates are awarded for the following courses: Online Diploma on Corporate Sustainability, Sustainability (CSR) Reporting, Carbon Footprint Reduction Strategy, ESG Performance for Professionals and Investors.

7. How will I receive my Certificate?

Upon successful completion of each course’s final quiz and assignment the participant receives the Certificate within 5 working days.
